This might be the hardest thing I’ve done all month. This is my all-star list of cookies… all cookies are really good, but these top my holiday list.
1- The Decorated Cookie
Traditionally this is a sugar cookie that is decorated with royal icing. In my house, we prefer Aunt
Vicki’s Cookies with a soft royal icing for decoration. Aunt Vicki’s Cookie is a soft and not too sweet
shortbread.
2- Rugelach
Christmas cookies are good, but Hannukah cookies are also pretty amazing. This flaky cookie can
be rolled with an assortment of fillings including nuts, jams, cinnamon sugar, or chocolate and is a fan
favorite for any Holiday Celebration.
3- Chocolate Peppermint Whoopie Cookie
Go ahead, take a bite and see where they got the name. This treat will make you shout,
“Whoopie!” Rich, dark chocolate cake shells with light, fluffy min cream filling. Simply habit-
forming.
4- Peanut Butter and Chocolate Buttons
These chewy, peanut and chocolate cookies are simple and sinful and an absolute must in any
Holiday Cookie Tray!
5- Raspberry and Almond Thumbprint
These nutty and fruity treats are a perfect way to round out your Holiday Season. Sweet, but not too
sweat, soft but not mushy, and the perfect amount of crumbs!
